Ava had her four-month checkup on Friday. She weighed 13 lbs 10 oz and was 26 inches long. That put her in the 45th percentile for her weight and the 90th percentile for her height. She didn't like the shots, but what baby does? She was already tired when we went to the doctor's so she fell asleep right away when I got her in the car, which was great, because I was heading to Tooele and she slept the whole way. Matt is in Provo this week, he's doing grave shifts every night from tonight (Saturday) until next Friday, to get in clinical hours for school, so I came to spend the week with my momma and poppa. So, there will probably be a lot of pictures posted this week because he wants to see his little girl.
The pediatrician told us to go ahead and start rice cereal, this is Ava's first experience with it. She did a lot of licking the spoon, but she ate it all down and seemed to like it pretty well.

She is getting big! wasn't she only like 11 pounds 2 weeks ago? She has surpassed Maddie for height and has almost caught up to her in weight! What a cutie!

Poor girl, tall and skinny just like her mom. Hard life she'll have, hehehe. I'm jealous you get to be with your parents this week, don't you love to be w/ family. You get spoiled and have so much fun. Enjoy every minute!
