October

Okay, so let's be for real for a minute, it's quite obvious I'm a once-a-month blogger these days, so instead of calling every post "Catching Up" I'm just gonna go for the month this time, so here are a bunch of pictures of our October, out of order of course, but here nonetheless...enjoy :)
Earlier in the summer we took Ava on a bike ride down the Jordan River Parkway and ended at Gardner village and they have a little petting zoo and she got to ride some ponies, so we thought we'd do it again, but we didnt' realize the petting zoo area was closed, so we felt like pretty crappy parents when we show up and Ava kept saying "Ride the ponies?" but it was a really beautiful bike ride anyway, the leaves had fallen along the trail so they were all crunchy and pretty and it was a beautiful day!
Our little elephant, going trick-or-treating

all the cousins, ready to hit the town
My niece was a zombie bride, I was quite impressed! Plus, see that pillowcase? That's when you know you're at the age that trick-or-treating is a much more serious ordeal!
Our little elephant with her Nanny and Grandpa

Zombie Bride in the making....

Our little Joe dirt, we put this on her and she wore it forever, it was cracking us up!
We decided to let Ava paint her pumpkin to save us from severed limbs, so this is her painting her pumpkin....and herself!

This is at the pumpkin walk at the Benson Grist Mill

The family outing to the pumpkin patch

I guess all two year olds are subject to this face...Ava and her cousin at the pumpkin patch

Trying out different costumes before Halloween, the care bear one was just a little too big this year, thank goodness for hand-me-downs eh?
Well, that's it, we are just still trying to sell our townhouse, find a place to live in Connecticut, and not get buried with all these wonderful costs of going back to school. 18 books later and I should be a preferred member of Amazon and Ebay! Other than that, we are doing great! Happy past October and Happy November and fallen leaves and thanksgiving and crisp weather! Gotta love the fall!
