I'm officially halfway to 50 and the only consolation I have is that Matt is closer than I am. I had a great birthday, Matt came home for lunch with a rose and a diet coke and the day just got better after that. I went to the doctor for my leg and he told me I could start running, then Matt took me to Chili's for dinner. After dinner, we had cake and ice cream with Chris and Jess and Taylor and Liz. It was a great birthday!Matt claims I'm going to have a picture of Ava in every outfit she owns, but sometimes, she just looks so cute in them, I can't help myself.
This is her attacking the puppy dog. She's beginning to eat anything that comes close to her mouth, and if it doesn't come close on its own, she's getting really good at getting it there herself.

cute pictures! I'm glad you had a happy birthday! You just can't help but take pictures in every outfit because they are so darn cute! plus they can only wear that outfit for like a week anyway!
Happy Birthday Jen! You are getting so old! :-) I'm glad you had a good one...the flower looks so nice. Ava does look cute in everything.
Just realizing I am going to be in my "late 20's" freaks me out! Birthdays start to be fun again when you have kids I have noticed. They make you feel young! Good things the husbands are closer. Mine will be 29 this year-yowzer! Ava is a cutie and she will love all the pics when she gets older!
