We went to Zion National Park on Thursday and did the Emerald Pools hike. It was a beautiful day, and it was Ava's first adventure in the backpack, ours too for that matter. I think that adds a couple miles onto the hike!

The weather was beautiful this weekend. Yeah, it does add quite a bit to the hike when having to carry a little person on your back. But in all it is fun. I am so glad that we were able to see you guys on Friday. We had a great time visiting with you.
That is so nice you were able to go to Zion. I miss being there for that beautiful park. It is such a neat place and you can never get sick of it!
It was fun to get together and BBQ the other night and get to chtch up. Little Ava is even more cute in person than pictures...if that is possible? Zions looks like such a blast. Emerald Pools is one of my favorite hikes there...probably cause I am a little scared of heights:) I almost died on Angels Landing:)
