She also really liked the reptile house, cuz the animals were right next to the glass and she could walk up and be right next to them. She was way happy the whole time and we had a lot of fun. It was pretty crowded, cuz apparently we aren't the only ones who thought to go on Memorial Day, but it wasn't too bad!
This is the snake slide spitting us out, what you can't see are the feet of the little boy behind us on my back, it was pretty funny!
I told Matt we had to have her drink from the Lion's mouth, it's just a Hogle Zoo standard!

I can't believe how big Ava is-she looks so much like you. Yes-I can imagine Memorial Day at the zoo to be packed-the more the merrier.
I can't wait for my little one to be big like Ava so he can talk to me.

Yay for the zoo! Caden keeps begging me to go too. I'm glad you guys are having fun! And yes, I agree we should do a BBQ sometime soon before we all move so far away!
